Many of those who have ongoing procedures with the Spanish administration have received the suggestive message:
English translation
In accordance with the third additional provision of Royal Decree 463/2020 of March 14, which declares the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19, the deadlines for processing your application for [name of application] are interrupted. The calculation of the deadlines will be resumed at the moment that the aforementioned Royal Decree or, if applicable, its extensions, becomes invalid.
What does this mean?
We can then assume that although some administrations continue to operate with their officials from home, they are not doing so 100% and therefore delays are to be expected. As the message says, until the alarm state is over, the resolution deadlines cannot be taken into account again.
